Worship 4 All

In September, St Andrews will be launching Worship 4 All on the first Sunday of the month to replace the Family Service. The service will be appropriate for all ages, will feature a simple theme each month, with new and well known songs and will be especially suitable for those new to church. For further details, please contact the Vicar.

Pram Service

St Andrews and St Oswalds jointly host Pram Services on the second Tuesday of the month at St Andrews and on the fourth Tuesday at St Oswalds, starting at 9.15 a.m. and lasting approximately 30 minutes. Refreshments are served beforehand from 8.45. The service is designed for parents/grandparents and carers with pre-school children. We sing songs, tell stories and take part in craft activities, getting little ones familiar with church from the youngest age. There is also an opportunity to meet others from the area who are at home caring for children.

Wednesday Communions

Wednesday Morning Communions are at 10:00am

All are welcome to these services which last for 30 minutes and are usually followed by refreshments and fellowship.

Service Patterns

The first Sunday of each month is a Family Service at 10:00 a.m. , a service for all ages. The other Sundays at St Andrew’s are communion services, usually unless otherwise advertised with Junior Church and crèche. The second Sunday communion is a quiet service, with opportunities for quieter reflection. The 8 a.m. communion service takes place on the first Sunday of each month.

The St@PH service takes place on the second and fourth Sunday at 10.30 a.m. at Park Hill School with contemporary worship for all ages. The focus is on word and worship, aimed at a similar congregation. If you’ve not tried St@PH before, why not come along and see for yourself?
