Christian Aid Collection 2007

1160 pennies and a lot of pounds have raised our parish collection this year to a wonderful £2,366.60 (including the taxman’s contribution to Christian Aid because of the £826.50 which was gift aided!).

Doris ’s coffee morning went with a swing and raised over £155.00.

It was a relatively dry week for the house to house collectors this year, who were rewarded with a total of £1,549.30 for their foot slogging.

Other donations came from individuals and a church collection.

A BIG THANK YOU to all who worked hard, and for all who gave generously in spite of problems such as the baby chewing up the C.A. envelope.
